Amador County Marriage Records
Marriage is one of the many ceremonies that require the intervention of the government because marriage is something that results in different social relations between two people. As the government is interested in marriages, it means that there are records that are available to refer to them. In Amador County, these records are part of a collection of records known as the Amador County Marriage Records.
The records that are part of the Amador County Marriage Records include not only the basic information regarding a particular marriage, but also other important data that may be of use to the person who is requesting for the same. Note that marriage records are public records, which means that they are available at all times upon a valid request. Note further that there are two types of marriage records, a certified copy and an informational copy, both with its own inherent set of limitations.
There are two levels that must be considered when one is searching for Amador County Marriage License Records, at the local or county level, or at the national or state level. At the local level, the office that is concerned is the office of the clerk-recorder. To request for copies at this level, the searcher would first have to download the relevant form and fill up the same. Note that the request form for a certified copy is different from the request form for an informational copy, so the searcher must be careful when downloading. Note that requests for certified copies would require the searcher to attach a notarized sworn statement to the form, the format of which would be included in the form to be downloaded. Once completed, the form should be mailed to the clerk-recorder with the corresponding fee in the form of a money order. The required fee is twenty five dollars per marriage record. Note further that the clerk-recorder has no marriage records prior to the year 1872. Records prior to this year may be found at the county library or county archives.
CA Marriage Records are also available at the state level, and at this level, the office concerned would be the California Department of Public Health. To make a request at this level, the searcher would first have to download the required form. At this level, the forms for informational and certified copies are also different, so one must note this as well. In all other respects, the procedure is the same as at the local level, though the required fee is fifteen dollars per copy of the document requested.

Currently, the government has no online database that could be used to instantly display the required results, but there are a number of privately owned databases that do provide this exact service, and most of them provide this service for free or minimal fee. The use of these online databases are more efficient because they are faster, and they could be used from the home of the users without the need to fall in line or even to leave the house or room of the searcher.
